The details matter.
Can I buy a piece in the gallery?
Yes. Select “Request this piece” for an original or “Commission similar” for a new work. We confirm the exact artwork, current price and delivery in your offer before you pay. Some images show murals, wearable art or different views of the same work.
What's included in the price?
The listed amount is for the artwork. Shipping and optional framing are separate. We'll confirm the full quote before payment.
Can I request another size or subject?
Yes. Tell us what you have in mind in your request. We'll confirm the size, approach and price with you before you order.
When will my piece arrive?
For a standard canvas commission, allow an estimated 6–8 weeks for creation after your brief is approved and a named artist is allocated. Delivery takes additional time. Your quote confirms the schedule before payment.
Can I pay a deposit for a commission?
Your quote confirms the available payment options, the amount due and any remaining balance. An approved payment schedule can include a deposit and a later balance on the same order. Your payment page shows the amount due now; future payments are not automatic. Sending a request is free and doesn't reserve a studio slot or take a payment.
Will I see my commission before it ships?
Yes. Your quote sets out the agreed composition and proof stages. We ask for your approval of the final artwork before dispatch. Our standard proposal includes two rounds of minor changes within the agreed brief. A new subject, size or composition needs a revised quote you accept first.
How are shipping and import charges handled?
We quote delivery for your destination and confirm whether the work travels rolled, stretched, framed or in another agreed format. Your offer explains packing, carriage, tracking and who pays any taxes or import duties. We confirm these details before requesting payment.
What if my artwork is delayed or arrives damaged?
Contact Acktive with your order reference. For damage, keep the packaging and take photos of the packaging and artwork. We'll review the problem with you and arrange the appropriate next step. If we can't meet the agreed dispatch date, we'll contact you about a revised date or the applicable refund option.
